What a big week actually does

A night out is not free. Your liver breaks alcohol down into acetaldehyde, a reactive compound that has to be neutralized quickly, and neutralizing it burns through glutathione, your body's main antioxidant reserve. At the same time, alcohol increases the loss of B vitamins such as thiamine, draws on the choline your liver and brain rely on, and leaves oxidative stress across the whole system.

One night, your body absorbs. Every week, or a proper bender, and the costs start to compound. LITSKI exists for exactly that arithmetic: five ingredients chosen to restock what nights take out. Below, ingredient by ingredient, is why each one made the formula.

FORMULA REPORT LITSKI · PER 2-CAPSULE DOSE
NAC (N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine) 600 mg
Alpha-GPC 300 mg
Silymarin Phytosome® 260 mg
Benfotiamine 50 mg

THE FORMULA

Five actives, chosen on purpose

01

NAC N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine

600mg

Why it made the formula

Your body's master antioxidant, glutathione, is built from cysteine, and cysteine availability is the bottleneck. NAC is the most direct and most studied way to feed that pipeline. A full 600 mg, so the glutathione system has raw material ready when demand spikes.

The research

Reviews describe NAC as a safe, effective way to replenish intracellular glutathione (Curr Opin Pharmacol, 2007; Pharmacol Ther, 2014). A randomized trial reported improved liver enzyme values after three months of NAC (Hepat Mon, 2010).

02

Alpha-GPC choline alfoscerate

300mg

Why it made the formula

Choline has a double job: your brain turns it into acetylcholine, the signaling molecule behind focus and memory, and your liver needs it to process fats. Alpha-GPC is the most bioavailable choline source and crosses into the brain efficiently. Hence this form, not cheaper choline salts.

The research

A 261-patient RCT found improved cognitive scores over 180 days (Clin Ther, 2003); an analysis of 13 trials with 4,000+ patients reported consistent memory and attention benefits (Mech Ageing Dev, 2001). Choline is a recognized essential nutrient (Nutr Rev, 2009), and choline deficiency is linked to reversible fatty liver (Hepatology, 1995).

03

Silymarin Phytosome® milk thistle

260mg

Why it made the formula

Milk thistle is the most studied botanical for the liver, and silymarin is its active complex. The catch: on its own it absorbs poorly. So we use a phytosome, silymarin bound to phospholipids, for several-fold better uptake. Centuries of tradition, held to a modern standard.

The research

A systematic review of 36 studies reported favorable liver outcomes and a strong safety record (Drugs, 2001). Human pharmacokinetics show far higher blood levels for the phytosome complex than plain silymarin (Eur J Drug Metab, 1990; Altern Med Rev, 2005).

04

Benfotiamine fat-soluble B1

50mg

Why it made the formula

Vitamin B1 sits at the center of energy metabolism, and the brain and nervous system are its biggest consumers. Benfotiamine, the fat-soluble form, is absorbed substantially better than regular thiamine and reaches tissues water-soluble forms struggle with.

The research

A human pharmacokinetic study found roughly ten times the available thiamine with benfotiamine (J Clin Pharmacol, 2014). An 8-week RCT reported improved nerve function (BAP I, 1998), and reviews describe how heavy drinking depletes thiamine (Alcohol Res Health, 2003; Lancet Neurology, 2007).

05

Astaxanthin microalgae carotenoid

8mg

Why it made the formula

One of the strongest natural antioxidants known, with its own territory: astaxanthin sits inside cell membranes, protecting ground that water-soluble antioxidants cannot reach. It closes the loop that NAC and silymarin start. 8 mg sits at the top of the studied daily range.

The research

An 8-week double-blind RCT in healthy adults reported reduced oxidative stress and inflammation markers (Nutr Metab, 2010). A 3-month trial at exactly 8 mg per day found significantly lower lipid-peroxidation markers (Int J Vitam Nutr Res, 2007), and a dose study reported improved blood lipids (Atherosclerosis, 2010).

BATCH TESTING

Every batch leaves with a certificate

LITSKI is manufactured under pharmaceutical-grade quality control. Every production lot is tested for identity and fill weight, heavy metals (lead, cadmium, mercury, arsenic) and full microbiology (salmonella, staphylococcus, coliforms, yeasts and molds). Only when everything is within specification does a batch leave the factory with a certificate of analysis.
